Junxtore/Recycling Yard Helper

Earthworks Recycling is looking for a part time or full time, energetic, friendly Junxtore / Recycling Yard Helper. Our “Junxtore” is a recycled goods store, stocked with “Too good to toss items”, salvaged from our Recycling Yard. We sell Computers, Barrels, Metals, Books, Moving supplies, etc. all the way to Chicken Feed, we have it! Junxtore duties include but not limited to, organizing (“AND” re-organizing items), cleaning / sweeping the store, answering phones, assisting customers, loading / unloading trucks, posting ads on ebay / online, and researching / pricing items. Recycling Yard duties include but not limited to, grading / handling pallets, sorting / baling metals and cardboard, helping unload trucks, and general yard cleanup.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly adaptive, DIY (Do it Yourself) and active, “Hands on" person, a quick thinker who takes initiative and has a positive and easy going attitude. Customer service oriented and experience with metals, small engines, electronics or medical equipment is a plus. Cannot have a police record because of some materials we handle

Qualifications include:
-High School Degree (GED)
-Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
-Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
-Willing to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
-Excellent Customer Service/Relation Skills
-Communication Skills, Verbal and Written
-Previous Cash handling experience is a plus but not required

Wages are DOE plus state mandated benefits.
