Fluorescent Light Tubes

Some of the basic guidelines are:

  • Whole bulbs only, no broken bulbs
  • We charge by the pound for tubes
  • Bulbs must be boxed a specific way. Ask for instructions.

Charges:

Loose bulbs, no boxes, wet or bad boxes:  $1.65 per pound charge

Under 75 pounds of bulbs, in original boxes or equivalent:  $1.20 per pound charge

Over 75 pounds of bulbs, in original boxes or equivalent:  $1.10 per pound charge

Ballasts: Must say non-PCB, 40 cents per pound charge

Incandescent bulbs: 40 cents per pound charge, $1 minimum

 Halogen bulbs: 40 cents per pound charge, $1 minimum

Compact fluorescent: No charge

Circular and U-Tubes: $1.50 per bulb charge

High Intensity Discharge: $1.75 per bulb charge

Metal Halide bulbs: $4.00 per pound charge if loose, $3.50 per pound charge if boxed properly (ask for details)
